Kinerja Penyuluh Pertanian Dari Persepsi Kelompok Tani Di Kelurahan Rap-Rap Kabupaten Minahasa Utara

Abstract

Agriculture sustains people's lives and is one of the country's main economic sectors. Agriculture is also a pillar to drive the national economy. Perception is a way used by a person in determining, interpreting, and organizing existing information to create a meaningful world. Performance is a characteristic of agricultural instructors to develop the obligation function. The instructors have a reference in carrying out counselling and stabilizing the community. This study aimed to determine the perception of the farmer groups on the performance of agricultural instructors in Rap-rap Village, Airmadidi Subdistrict, North Minahasa Regency. This study used the qualitative method. The data was collected using the primary data obtained through direct interviews and distributing questionnaires to farmers. The secondary data was obtained through the Agricultural Instructors Center of Airmadidi Subdistrict and relevant journals. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive data analysis using Likert scale measurements. The number of respondents was 20 farmers. The results of this study indicated that farmers' perception of the performance of agricultural instructors in Rap-rap Village, Airmadidi Subdistrict, North Minahasa Regency as a whole was categorized as good with an average value of 4.10.
